How to Keep your Brain and Body Healthy in January 2021

Although we have seen the back of 2020 and hope is now on the horizon in the form of a vaccine, the next few months are likely to be pretty gruelling for many people – whether you have children stuck at home, a vulnerable family member, or are trying to run a business during uncertain economic times.

It is important to take care of yourself during these troubled times, and despite lockdown taking away many of the normal ways that we would cope with the January blues there are lots of other things that you can do to cheer yourself up and look forward to better times to come in the not-too-distant future!

One of the best ways that you can help not only the brain but also the body is to make sure that you exercise regularly. A brisk country walk is a great way to help yourself relax, or you can do online workouts from the comfort of your home.

Treats are something that everyone should have and are an important way to get yourself feeling better. Whatever you like or might cheer you up, do it regularly – whether a night relaxing the sofa in front of your favourite film, new clothing such as Superdry menswear from EJ Menswear, or a new book – whatever makes you feel good.

Learning a new skill is a great way to keep the brain busy and productive – whether you want to learn a language, a musical instrument or re-take some exams that you failed at school, now is a great time to do that.
