Wide-leg pants. If you have a set of wide-leg trousers that have been sitting up in your closet or attic for the past couple of years, take them out and put them in the cleaners because this would be the time to put them back on. Tea-length skirts. Another big trend for this spring is a pretty modest one. We say that because rather than wearing mini-skirt or even knee-length skirts this year, it’s actually more fashionable to put on a tea-length one. The fun thing about these is that you can wear them with so many things from T-shirt and tank tops to a blazer or jean jacket. They will have you looking effortlessly romantic all season long.
Tuxedo athletic pants. There’s another trend that we find to be really fresh-looking and also pretty modern at the same time. It’s the tuxedo athletic pant. Basically, these are pants that are made out fabrics like cotton or a nylon blend that have a bold line running down the seam. These are a cool thing to wear if you’re planning to go to a place like an outdoor concert because they are dressy enough for the occasion but comfortable enough to sit on the lawn or in a chair.
Sweaters. If you were to go on a website while looking for a bit of street style for this spring, something that you might see are sweaters. Now, these aren’t the heavy kind that you tend to wear at Christmas. These are actually sweaters that are made out of a light knit fabric. They’re awesome because you can use them to dress up or down an outfit. For instance, you can wear a sweater dress to the office or a church event or you can wear a sleeveless sweater with a pair of jeans while you’re on a date. The other awesome thing about this particular trend is that you can find sweaters everywhere from the department store at the mall to your local thrift store.
